Cpt White will the drakh raider(the small fighter) and the larger version be in release 2. I think I have seen some where that it looked like it has been modeled and textured. Also Are there plans to so the larger drakh ship.

There are plans to do pretty much ALL of the ships you've seen on the show. We're trying anyways. I'm a fan of blasting Drakh ships out of the sky.

Haven't quite worked out all of the details of the Drakh Raider yet...probably in future patches or releases. May come with Shadow and Vorlon ships...we definately want those.

VARNING: Off-tupic!

Speaking of the show, did anyone else hear that Vivendi is in trouble?

quote:
From The New York Times:

Paris, March 6 - Vivendi Universal reported today that it lost more than $25 billion for 2002, largely as a result of huge write-offs on investments made in the heady years of the 1990's.

Vivendi's board, meanwhile, gave its chairman, Jean-René Fourtou, the green light today to explore shedding its American entertainment assets.

More in a related article.

quote:
From The New York Times:

That does not mean a sale is imminent, people close to the company cautioned. While Mr. Fourtou has held discussions recently with senior executives of rival entertainment companies, a sale process has not formally begun.

Moreover, Vivendi has not ruled out other ways of raising money from the businesses — which include the Universal film, music and theme parks as well as the USA Networks and Sci-Fi cable channels — including finding partners or selling shares to the public. A final decision is not expected before June, one person close to Vivendi said.

...

Mr. Fourtou, who averted a cash shortage last year by renegotiating bank loans and selling billions worth of assets, has pledged to sell an additional 7 billion euros in assets this year.

But several analysts said they doubted Mr. Fourtou could reach that goal without a big sale in the United States, especially now that a plan to sell new shares in Canal Plus, the French pay television service, had been sidelined.

Might not mean anything drastic for us B5 followers, just thought you'd like to know.

Well I guess you have to do some extra work on the balancing it and the making the new FIGHTER BEAMS work

Ya know what would be an awesome mission, The alliance and EA ships versus the Drakh. with earth in the back ground.

You missed the battlewagon off the diagram CptWhite. Please do it again . Drakh Raider really should be in R2. There's no excuse for it not to be as it's been 95% for about 9 billion years. Sorry chaps. Definitely in R2.1 with the Vorlon Fighter.

A post I made about their trouble back in October on this forum....
"Vivendi Universal owns the USA network in which SciFi channel is a part of. Well guess who else Vivendi owns...you guesed it Sierra. So it's not SciFi being a traitor it's their new owners. If SciFi was still run by their previous owner Farscape would probably still be around along with B5. And many of us know the piss poor financial status of Vivendi. For those that don't let me put it into perspective "By the close of trading, Vivendi shares were down more than 12%, taking losses to 45% during the week, and more than 80% since the start of this year," "Vivendi is now worth less than one fifth of what it was two years ago. During that time, shareholders have watched the value of their investments drop from $120 a share to about $20 a share," "The series of takeovers left the company with a large debt pile. Then, the hi-tech bubble burst and economic growth began to falter. That meant that many of the businesses that Vivendi bought were only worth a fraction of the value the firm paid for them. Vivendi Universal unveiled a 13.6bn euro loss for 2001, weighed down by a colossal downward revision in the value of its assets." They don't care what they have to do to recover financially from that kind of debt. They are desperate. They will cut everything that takes up a large sum of money and unfortunately that is the scifi shows like B5 and Farscape. CGI isn't exactly cheap and that is just the tip of the iceberg."

Well, might be good news for Farscape fans then.

Suppose Vivendi did cut SciFi loose. If a US company were to pick it up, which one would it be?
