Well, not exactly commited to memory, i know them when i play the movies, but not when i want to type them out. (you know what i mean?

That's odd, since I took the dialogue directly from the official Freespace Reference Bible. So that's Volition's inconsistency, not mine.

Cool

Hi GE! (Hope you don't mind being called GE )

I've also fooled around with your -spectaucal, fantastic, ect. ect... -port, but when I tried to replace the music with the original one I've come across some problems.
I put all the original music files in data/music and have replaced the music.tbl as well. It didnt' see to work.
I've replaced the musics in the missions as well. Then I was able to hear the music but the tracks were mixed up.
So I've edited the tbl with notepad and deleted the lines that linked to none.wav. It seems to have cleared things a bit, but two problems still remain:
-Sometimes the briefing is played during missions as a track
-Sometimes two tracks are played simultaiously - usually a battle and a normal track, so it may be linked to FS2's battle recognition methods

The problem in the tbl is that some missions in FS1 don't have a 3rd battle theme along with an objective failed sound.

Could you tell me what to do?

PS: Yeah, I'm the same lunatic who put that link to his musfix2.exe on the HLP forum

Of course I don't mind being called GE.

Ugh, FS1 music. Well, for the third battle track, I guess you could use the same entry for the second track, no? And about the briefing, I have no idea.
