I'm probly useing some out of date version of the tables, when ever you get a warning just click no and it will try to work

I think I found the code that lists that error, it looks like it should have spit out a file telling everything that needs to be fixed, look for
"subsystems for inclusion"
or something like that in the table folder
when posting errors try to get them exactly as they were writen, usualy they get put onto the clipbord so you could just paste the first few lines of the mesage

could someone zip up the most up to date version of the tables so I could work from what I know were good tables

That's because the ship tables have the wrong filenames for ship_icon and ship_overhead parts. You'll have to check out these filenames from the original tables, and then rename them in the bobbaus ones. You can't just copy the old tables over, that won't work.

OK, just updated the file again, this time I made a relese build so it would play better (though if it realy does is in question) so you might want to give the EXE a diferen't name, and if this one crashes I probly won't be able to figure out why as easily.
the tables are based on the 1.1 tables Mr. Fury just posted, though some balence work may still be nesisary for the Nial gun (posably too powerfull), note the beam point cyleing time is linked to the fire wait ((fire wait / 2 ) * number of fire points) and you can make more than one beam fire at a time but raiseing the "shots" count in the beam info (this isn't realy related to TBP but I thought you might like to know), for no cycling leave it as 0.

I got to tell you the fighter beams on the Nials sure seems a lot better than the old pulses until you end up on the receving end, and a marked improvement over the earlier versions of my fighter beam code (the point cycling)

1) Extracted files to appropiate folders and renamed fs3.exe to free3.exe
2) Launched free3.exe and created a new pilot.
3) Selected Minbari war demo.
4) Launching the campaign but it greets me with error "Warning: A subsystem was found in model that does not have a record in ships.tbl".
5) Clicked "No" and it greets me with second error "Warning: Model 'atmshuttle.pof' could find all detail levels for submodel 'kestrela-hull'". <-- Is there a typo in this error message? ('not' missing?)
6) Clicked "No" again and FS2 continues mission loading, command briefing anim starts playing.
7) I click continue --> "Freespace has encountered a problem and needs to close."

Here's [URL=http://koti.mbnet.fi/~fury/misc/debugspew.txt]Debug Spew[/URL] if you like to take a look at it.

Let's see if this problem can be solved if I revert back to original FS2 data folder and install R1 and R1 patch again without any unreleased stuff.

Interesting, reverted back to original data folder and then installing R1 and patch, the first error message is not displayed. But kestrel problem is still there. FS2 crashes.

these lines just before the crash are some what concerning

code:

Not rendering a texture because it didn't fit in VRAM!

have you tried running with out the super duper highres taxture upgrade

the other two warnings shouldn't cause more than minor iritation

what type of video card do you have?

Looks pretty much identical to what I got. I'm running XP
if that makes any difference.
I am using Highres textures, I don't have time to try it without
at the moment, but I'll give it a go in a couple of hours.
(oh and mine is a GF4 TI4400)
