if you look at the engines you can tell that it is human in design. Therefore it is not COMPLETLY classles.

I understand, that the Icarus isn't very important for TBP, but neither was the Faustus for FS1/FS2.
It would be interesting for mission design to escort a "weak" vessel. If you remember the mission in which you escort the Icene, it was very hard to get the Faustus through alive.
But you are right! Make the other models like the Victory, Whitestar, Omega, Warlock,..... first.
