Forget it, BWO will have in-flight speech only. Getting briefings in a good quality is extremely time consuming for me AND for the actors. So we focus on the in-flight only. It was the same thing in the german FS2 version btw...no briefings or debriefing voice at all.

In TBP forum 4. May 2002... Well mayby everyone took it as joke, but if someone would have volunteered...

http://www.volitionwatch.com/vwbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6088

But in other hand I said once that I dont have place to put 'em so, it really doesn't matter to me, like I said I can live without voices

So if you are willing to do voice acting and giving web space say so

Oh well thats my opinion, I am probably very very wrong.

I don't think you are wrong. Having smaller download chunks means you loose less data and time should something go wrong with the download.

Just what I said.

I'll post them shortly. To be honest, they really aren't very different from the ones you did. I just tailored them to the history of BWO.

Maybe we could put some pictures up in the forums of the Telesto's blocky beauty. Shrike?

Heh, you should see my connection. Last time I checked I was downloading at a rate of 2.27 kb/s. That's about average for me I suppose.

However, I'd rather see the campaign held back until the voices are done. They say that the best things come to those who wait and besides, it could mean having to change the events in the missions if a voice file is longer than originally anticipated.

Like most people will agree, it would be better with voice. I downloaded the Babylon Project release at roughly 2 kb/s and I'd do the same for Blackwater Operations.

Yeah, I DL TBP too, but it wasn't at home, and I tell you, you DL it on your 56k, because it had very little messages, compared to a normal FS campaign... also, the internet here isn't actually cheap...

And really, its just a demo to keep people hungry, why would it have voices...

You don't get it, the demo is the prologue for BWO...why no voices? Guess it is possible, that it will be in the whole thing too.
