$100 for the entire first season is a bargain. I think that's works out less than $3 and episode.

This is the most interested I've even been in a commentary track, even if it is only on 2 episodes for season one.

And it's is in *real* wide screen, unlike the crappy chopped version on Sci Fi (yes I know the fixed it after the first run of season 4).

Hmm works out at Â£66.666... That is probably exculding VAT, so it's probably going to be Â£80. I'd really have preferred to get seperate DVD's since I don't really want all the episodes in season 1

I tried it once, watching all five seasons took me about one month to do. I think if the seasons are released every six months or so then demand will be kept high and the market won't become saturated. Sorry if this sounds like too long to wait but if you factor in the time required for remastering and the collecting of "extras" then I think the wait is worth it (assuming that the other series are released).

usually you get 6 episodes on a DVD ( about 20 minutes per episode? ), if you have any bonus coming along. otherwise, I dunno.

Each episode is 42 mins though (on average). So... maybe 3 - 4 episodes per DVD?
