Those keyboards look dodgy. There must be some way they can make the keys just that little bit more silent.

I wish they would make keyboards with letters that are lit from behind; like on mobile phones. That would be really handy as I find playing games is a lot better in the dark but you can never see the keys. Trying to press a specific key can be a nightmare.

Anyway, that's just my humble opinion.

I can. "Epee laser".
Ah, rats! You are right, that's not easy!

Hmm. In theory that wouldn't be that difficult to do. However the keys might feel a little 'squishy' compared to, say, my MS Ergonomic Pro (or an old-school IBM M-type ) but it could be done.

Hmmm.

Then again, I've basically memorized my keyboard, so playing games in pitch darkness (for example, the only way to play Aliens vs Predator (or AvP2)) isn't a problem.

Lol - I'll get to work on it now then.

Try cleaning your keyboard. I type fast as well, and I noticed that my keyboard began to make a lot of noise. I despise using different ones, because every keyboard is slightly different. After using the same one for about 5 years now, my fingers are used to exact positions. Buying a new one would kinda be a pita. To that extent, take off the back of your keyboard, and clean all the keys. You'll noticed a big difference in noise: it'll be much quieter.

I'm still using the keyboard from my crappy first Packard Bell. Why? It doesn't have that counfounded "Windows Key" and the Ctrl and Tab are in the right spots. (which is good for crouching in FPS games as well as the tab is in the right spot for FS afterburners)

Which is why being left handed is a great help - instant, convienient access to the number pad and all keys on it without having to re-arrange anything. Glee

Being ambidextrous is even better. Still i can only write with my left hand but could never use a mouse with it.
