RF by default has a low gravity mode.

However I have gotten true zero gravity to work in RF with water and reduced friction. (this simulates a vaccum, the water drowning effect, as well as the zero-G by reducing water friction)

Team based, all the way!

Look at the squad in the Hall Fight- tactics all the way. I figure if you need to escape or something, OK, you're on your own, but for assault you definitely need a team.
The last thing I want is "Okay Alpha 1, you're the last hope for the universe. Everyone else is dead, go save the day by yourself."
I think you can get some atmosphere into it without sacrificing gameplay, particularly if you're in a disabled ship, with no power.

Imagine, if you will, you're lounging around in the barracks of some ship (probably a Hecate) when the ship shakes violently - the lights flicker, but don't go out.

well, what I can tell is that it won't happen since it happens during the V/T war. the modders should put that in their sig

I don't know how many on-board ship battles there will be, since we didn't see that much in FS1. A few ship captures, but not enough. Most of it will be planetary; very few Shivans I would imagine, even if the time period is changed.

And..just as a random question..is that Vasudan model in the Pic of the day right now the final result?

Maybe I've been spoiled by the likes of Jedi Knight 2 and such, but I was expecting something..err...better? No offense...

Play Half-Life for a few weeks and you'll stop complaining about that model.

EDIT: I just got an idea from Star Wars. Maybe there could be a bit where some Vasudans start running away from you, and you follow them and you'll come into a room with about thirty Vasudans in it and then they all start chasing you, and you either have to run back through a blast door before it closes or take on all of the Vasudans.

That's an excruciatingly low poly model. It's well textured, but it looks like it came out of Quake 1. I hope I hope I hope it's a WIP.

If you wont give us a rocket launcher, then at least give us Plasma Grenades (by they regular or rainbow coloured, I don't care ) or some mega destructive Detpack
