I know a friend that has Trek models, and I got the avioki from Nadab's site.. probably more models there. I'll ask about the trek models.. but I'd seriously recommend learning modelling yourself.. if you have max 3 then you're a step in the right direction.

Its not really the modeling part, its mostly the textures I have problems with. If could texture better I could make them.

you need either PSpro or Photoshop, or a program of equal worth.

jasc.com for Paint Shop Pro 7.
adobe.com for Photoshop 6 (I hear PS 7 is coming out soon)

Here's my two cents:

PSP7 has a better UI, by far, easier to find features but less power. It has the bonus of being $100 however.

PS6 has a lot more power but IMO an awful UI. The curve on this one's pretty steep. It's also, IIRC, $600.

I use Photoshop but I got a great deal on it, but I prefer Paint Shop Pro. Go figure

I would say pretty much the opposite with regards the ui's, but it's what u like I guess.. I h8 that they moved things around from APS5 to APS6 though.

Generally I use Photoshop cause it's the industry standard, period, similar to the reason typesetters ususally use macs
