sandwich: What're Summoner and Red Faction? Chopped liver? I just think VW didn't get enough RF/Summoner fans on here for some reason - couldn't tell you why, it's not like any RF site is better than ours (gloat gloat gloat)

probly you're lack of a dedicated redfaction\summoner (and for that mater freespace) board and (more likely) the rather unresponsive archives (not to mention the fact that the RF archives are a shameless rip of the freespace2 archives), there aren't nearly as many maps in the VW archives as in most other sites

Though the problem is... Interplay is dying (getting possibly bankrupt) and when/if that happens, where does the Freespace rights go? To Volition? And if this happens, they won't make Freespace 3, at least regarding to things what I've heard, and even if they would make a sequel. They would probably make it on PS2...

I dunno - Ice did have some intel stuff, as he said, and I have a few news screenshots as well - but he does the sites stuff (I don't really know how) and if he's unavailable, it stays undone.

I'll try and get his attention. In the meantime, since my psychology teacher is off on paternity leave for a few days I have some unexpected time off to get stuff done. Oh, and a new 1.4GHz Athlon. Woohoo!

I'm trying to get Setekh to render some stuff for them first. In the meantime, I've been working on more entries. You won't get them all at once, but they will all be ready to upload.

Demo will be done eventually. Kellan is hammering away at it...and I've got a mission to do myself. But school and classes take prescedence. So you'll have to wait till things slow up a bit.

Perhaps, but it would be very unwise to just ignore the already quite large fanbase for the freespace series, they probably release it dual platform like RF and Summoner which would make the graphics look rather poor, and i'd think the if interplay does eventually bite the dust, rights would (unfortunately) go automatically to Titus, since they own interplay's ass.

In any case, that would be quite sad. (Someone else other than V owning the rights, not interplay going bankrupt, i couldn't care less)
