I think people who've criticised this pic have been mean.. firstly, the ships that can barely be seen are the whole point of the image.
Secondly, I am of the opinion that the composition of this image mean that it could be an absolutely incredible background for a B5 feature in a magazine.
The only room for improvement I can think of is that the nebulae and the background in general looks a little bland, but overall:

I'm sorry for starting the whole "hard to see ships" bit. I never meant it as an insult, in fact I like that quality. I just wasn't sure if I was actually seeing the things.
I am a photo student, I was viewing this as a critique, where defferent people each put their two cents in. The overall idea, is to kind of break down the emotional connection the artist has with the work, to get them to look at it objectively, and see things they may have missed.

Kazan, I couldn't hope to produce something even close to what you've put together. Keep it up. Please, we want more.

Some, yes, but overall I see a lot of constructive criticism, which is good. Hey, it's better than anything I could do.

Then again, I don't do 3D artwork (only 2D )
