I know it's not canon but since it is official I'll mention it anyway. The Atlas of the Earth Alliance Wars from AoG for the B5 Wars game has supposedly a complete mission by mission account of every Earth war from the Minbari War to post Civil War era. I am uncertain if it has anything of the Dra'kh War but according to the Centauri novel Trilogy Earth didn't really take much part in the Dra'kh War anyways (to my disappointment) after A Call to Arms. The Dra'kh War was supposedly fought by the ISA and an internal Centauri rebellion but no EA.
Nevertheless, the Atlas should have the official versions of what happened in the EA Civil War, though I'm sure you will make use of artistic license and make up your own interpretation of the Civil War as well as any other Campaigns.

*****[POSSIBLE EA CILVIL WAR CAMPAIGN SPOILER WARNING]*****
I was just browsing through some old posts and the penny suddenly dropped. The only possible location for the player to be in an Earth Civil War campaign to gain full perspective of events (especially from General Hague's point of view) is as a pilot in the EAS Alexander. That even allows the player to fly a Starfury or a Thunderbolt as required/desired due to the Alexander being armed with Thunderbolts. I will hold my thoughts there as I think I may have unravelled a lot of the mystery from the campaign.
[Moderators please feel free to delete this post if it reveals too much of the campaign story]

few things i thought id say, first off, icefire, dont rush release 2, for all our sakes, take your time and work the bugs out. Second (this is to the mission designers) i suggest you plan the missions first on paper, if you cant write them because you dont have the ships, write your ideas down. Also, you can go ahead and do as much as you can sustituting novas for omegas, auroras for t-bolts, etc. I am currently occupied with my Into the Night Campaign (hint hint, advertising here) which you can find at geocities.com/sgchicken. When i finish with this campaign (prolly in 1 month) i'd be glad to help out with mission designing for TBP
.

To: Itnarol
Not to offence you, but I have tried that "Make it on paper first" and really it doesn't work with my style and those which I planned I did them last summer when I didn't have a comp. (note for orginal FS2) and still those "plans" are in my table and I haven't done nothing with them. All my capm. missions have comed in my mind and most of the event's in there aren't planned before creating the mission. So that paper idea doesn't fith to me.
If you wanna taste of my Idealig life take a look in:

There you can download my third release of EA-Minbari war.

I agree that writing a complete mission down on paper (or in Notepad, as I do) isn't always plausible, but it's great for jotting down ideas that suddenly come to you when you're listening to a CD or asleep in math class that you don't want to forget.
In my opinion complete scripting is the only way to put together a compaign that has an integrated storyline with multiple subplots running through it. If you just put the missions together in order then you invariably end up with a campaign where the stories are not as tightly fitting (unless you are a genius at retroactively redesigning missions).
Sorry, this post is not meant to poke at anybody's hard work but only really aimed at the sort of campaign used either profesionally (or in the official TBP mod, etc).
I do have an EA-Minbari War script coming along and as I write each mission in detail (third drafts so far) I add more and more dialogue and detail to each mission. This mainly saves time with voice acting because I don't have to redo lots of wav files as the storyline changes.

It would be cool to create a EA-civ war campaign where you fight at Clark's side against Sheridan's forces.
It would be great to fight alongside Omega-x's, maybe the first Warlock and against whitestars...
(I know, it's evil, didn't like those blue trashcans anyway)

Just wait until the next release comes out and I'm sure there will be at least one version of the Battle in 'Between the Darkness and the Light'. Just a small tinker with the mission in Fred 2 should do the trick for playing it on both sides (assuming White Stars end up as bombers).

To Starkiller:
I mayby do that in my camp. EAS Janus stays in Clark's side, but just before final fight Janus joins in Sheridan's forces (note: I always wanted to fight against Whitestars).
