Only prob with converting back using PCS is that (in my version at least) all the lights and axes are centred in the centre of the ship -0,0,0 - rather than the centre of their sub-object.

what version (checks this)

in the latest version 0.98.81 this is most certanly not that case, in fact i think i fixed that bug somewhere around 15-20 builds ago!

keep your POF CS updated mofo

Unhappy

Sorry, it takes me a while to respond. I definatly know what you mean about pasting the light source.I tried a model with no turrets and it showed up just fine. Add a couple turrets and look out. I guess it will just be simple trial and error when it comes to modding.Nothing pisses me off more than spending hours on a model just to have it f************* up.

Oh and for those of you who don't have truespace a couple things, A reg code will do you no good if you have a trial version installed. And two, I'm not getting involved in warez stuff but I'll just say that if you really want something you CAN find it out there on the internet. You just have to know where to look.

Gotta go yell at my computer again

Give you his legal copy is fine ... copying his legal copy != fine ... but if you can find someone who'll buy TS4 and you can have it, sweet.

Edwin - apparently you have been living under a rock. You have to pay for registration codes - hence asking for them is tantamount to asking someone to get you an illegal copy of TrueSpace.

Yeah.. none of us really use truespace anymore, so his version is pretty much useless to him - being students learning professionally we have to use 3dsmax all the time. I need it to convert my models for freespace, so he said I could have it.

A PC magazine had a older version of TS for free. You could download it, which i did but since my HD got wiped i lost it.

I know.. that's how he could afford to buy TS4 - as an upgrade from TS2

I was redicusley thinking that puting in TS4 code would upgrade TS1 to TS4. I know i am an idiot but OH WHELL!

Well, does putting in a Windows XP registration key upgrade Windows 95 to XP? Nooooooooooooo, you need the software.
I mean, think a minute, and you'll be fine.

I see you've cut down on puctuation by raising font size...

You know, it's not helping by screaming it out loud with large fonts and pretty colors. Chill out. That's the best advice EVER!
