in response to the Ashole's question, I am 14. to the BP staff. If you can't do it, at least explain it to me why. I have not a clue why can't just call the actors and say: "High. I am from a MODing team and we are doing a Babylon 5 total conversion of this game. The demo of the Earth-Minbari War got an 89 percent by TGU. it is perfect except for the voices for breifing. We were wonding, would you be willing to do a recording for the breifing voice."

Please explain why that can't be done.

89% from TGU? What the heck is that? Oh, some site that doesn't mean jack? Okay. (Not to diss on TGU, but they don't have any real-world clout if you see what I mean.) It doesn't mean A SINGLE THING IN THE REAL WORLD.

Second, if you'd READ MY POSTS you'd understand the actors cannot reprise their B5 roles without permission from the copyright holders, which would not be TBP, nor does TBP have a chance in hell of getting that copyright.

I've said all of this before. IceFire's said this before. Why don't you read the posts next time?

Then why not say that instead of just repeatedly saying "You could ask, couldn't you?"

The answer is no. The reason is copyright law. TBP does not own the copyright to Babylon 5 - this is an unofficial mod, obviously.
Without the copyright, or the permission of the copyright holders, they cannot get any of the actors to reprise their B5 roles. That's the way it works, that's the way the actors signed in their contracts when they agreed to be on B5.

(I might have a couple details wrong; copyright law isn't my thing but the conclusion, I know, is right.)

Seriously, if something isn't clear, than ask for someone to clear it up. There is no shame in asking a question if something doesn't make sense, however, asking the very same question over and over again gets difficult and tedious.

You have to understand that these questions have been asked a hundred times before. They are in the archives of this forum. You can search for them and find the answers.

If you have a specific question based on those answers, ask it, tell us what you know and what you've researched and tell us what your not clear on. But don't get the wrong impression with that either, if you can't be bothered to do a bit of background research into your question to see if its already answered, then why should we be bothered to answer the question?

All we ask is that people be informed where they can and our website, although still a little short in content, is trying to do that. If were failing in providing the information that can inform people and prevent needlessly asked questions, then we need to know that so that we can improve.
