People... we can't use that detailed turrets!
Perhaps at very close range but the station itself is damn big and chops some polys already. Don't expect to see too detailed work, we have MUCH more restrictions than IFH team...

BTW anyone else think that this scene wa strange. I mean the fighters just sat there and got blown away by Nials flying 50 meters behind them. I mean why didn't they even try to evade.

That's a docking bay, not a gun

Edwin... that is a gun...

In the episode with Mac and Bo,
that thing was referred to as the primary weapon...
It couldn't fire because there was a bug in it...
and it was fixed before that red ship engaged its jump drive.

It's definitely a gun. The heaviest gun on Babylon 5. Kicks ass.

yeah this big gun , along with the "mortar" thingy was part of the new weapons the EA installed on B5 in the "Gropos" episode.

They used it for the first time in "severed dreams" (when they broke away from earth) or in that episode when Sheridan blew the Centauri Primus straight ta hell

remember his apology at the end of the episode? heheheheheh I'm so giddy

I edited Severed Dreams episode few days ago, I uploaded it and it's now available here: http://koti.mbnet.fi/~fury/severed_dreams.rar

Size is 32.2 MB and lenght of film is 13 mins, 2 secs.
I edited it to show only the battles, I have also full episode if someone is interested. But I don't have enough space to upload the full version, size is 172 MB.

Edit: format is .wmv as it was the only choice Windows (XP) Movie Maker had... Windows Media Player can play it.

You can, codecs allows you to play certain formats. They don't screw up other formats at all.

A question: Why couldn't the fighters of the Alexander just jump with the ship?

I don't know, perhaps it requires some preparations and cannot be done in direct battle. Who knows, perhaps it's just for the plot.

Because then it wouldn't have had to blow up the midwinter and Major Ryan hadn't had to keep his speech about the nature of the war.

So in other words: The story needed it.

BTW, severed dreams has probably more CGI- and other mistakes than any other B5 episode. A great episode anyway, maybe the best.

Edit: Goddamnit, every time I try to post MR.fury says the same thing 2 seconds earlier.....
