well hell the Thera was only half done when someone in TBE took it over, I wish all I had to to was LOD0, we've got like over 20 new ships (of wich 2 were scraped and I was told to make completly new ones to replace them just as I was getting the last of there kinks out ) that I've got to get working in the four hours a day I have available for things like homework, relaxation, eating.

Oh my God, we're killing Bobboau with umm...work! Of course, you did create things like the Alfheim yourself, though we're willing to use them.

The story of the scrapped models is thus:

At the start of the campaign we didn't have massive ideas for huge fleets of ships but we wanted to make the Sol faction look different. Thus, it was suggested to us that rather than making new models, we converted some - from Homeworld. So, the Taiidan heavy cruiser and carrier were commissioned - Dark converted them and textured them, and Bobb did all the hard work on the LODs, subsystems and stuff.

Then IceFire (not that I'm blaming!) thought that it wouldn't go down so well with the FS2 community to use HW models, so we decided that new models would be for the best. Bobb conceptualised them and brought them to life, and the new ships are now coming along, and looking mighty.

Oh, on an off note, we're looking, really, for a full time texturer so that we don't kill Bobb, Shrike, and Styxx with work so much and so we can bring cohesion and a good look to Sol. Any takers? You get to see all the models...and the campaign gets done quicker...

Well the Thera half done has been working fine in FS2, some minor tweaks are being done to it (mainly more LODs, fixing up some turrets and debris, some rework on the "internal substructure")

You'll be happy with it

Also Kellan, take the blame off of IceFiar, I'm the one who yelled at him that Homeworld reskins=suckage

Homeworld ships have been removed pending some new vessels to be done by Bobboau.

One is actually in and looking very good. The other one is still in the works.

Well if you convert a 'worker' from Homeworld: Cataclysm, just make sure to add a soft serve machine subsystem. I refer you to page 45 of the Cataclysm manual (the pic at the bottom of the page).

And while I'm at it, consider this a formal protest by yet another person to get this campaign finished and out. There I'm done ranting now, you can go back to work

Maybe you should launch a formal complaint with the Solar System Administrator. Get that all straigtened out
