I think topics that descend into mindless nothing.. something this topic is doing.. should be closed ASAP.
Banning the people responsible isn't the way forward.. irreverance can be funny, and can serve to relieve tension.. I don't think its a good idea threatening people for being stupid.

And in my opinion, if you do delete someone's thread, at least make an effort to e-mail them and explain why you killed it. I think that if they are asking a valid question (be it B5 related or not) it deserves a decent answer, and if it's off-topic, a notice that it really doesn't belong here.
