I agree that Mr. Capt shouldnt listen 2 me because he will find this mod falling apart. The strenght of this mod is people .... people spending thir personal time on this thing .. telling people that they suck because they do not spend every free moment on this is gonna piss people off.. then the are gonna leave then u have yet anonther incomplete mod sittin there on the shelf. I understand that the Capt is mad but isolatin people from the team weakens the mod even if the have not done anthing in a while.. who is to say that they never will again.. this MOd is truly the last best hope to fly any baba 5 spacecraft.. people act ask this is some college assignment and you all are on a team and it is due next week and u have lazy members on this assigment.. Capt slow down!! dont kill yourself and this mod with it... wut if when you take time off and some new hott shot kicks you becase u are tired of textures... we need more tex people say "Hey guys we need more tex peeps " not! " u lazy muggz i gonna kick u all"!!!!!! If peeps are pessuring u on the release date them capt tell um to start workin in it dont kill your allies dont burn bridges
That is not good comm or relationship skillz IF U need help ask don't demand ... if u try 2 take a creatures freedom from it ... it will fight u tooth and nail... I want this mod just as bad as any one else but i dont and refuse to be a slave to this project or it king of textures. If u feel that we are makin excuses them maybe we have re-evaluate wut the criterion is to be a member

i tell people if their work is below par, i wont lie to them, im honest with myself too, i never said if you dont spend every second on the mod you suck. i am a bit mad that people are listed as "texturer" when they havent done any for example.

i assume your refering to me with that, well i have more experience with texturing now than many people, but i still am not top dog. if i had a slave it would be haderak, but he doesnt see it as a bad thing, i am trying to encourage him to texture, hes getting better, but i wont tell him hes ready until i really believe he knows everything he needs to know and can texture ships without my help and guidance. we need order for the mod, a structure of rank about who makes the decisions, trust me ive been around long enough to see otherwise and it isnt pretty.

to be a member is to realise you start low down and your opinion would probably mean less until you have proved your :

commited
know what your talking about
know what we expect and need
conform to your boss (for me this is et1 and tomcat)

and one final comment, i dont like texturing myself its often a tedious and annoying process, but i know i can do it, and im expected to do it, so while i have free time i am willing to do it.

2d art is definately a more interesting area for me. so then, i learnt texturing from scratch, do it even though i dont like it. its a necessary evil. but i think the final product will be worth it.



now like i said if your not part of the team its becasue you lack one area necessary to be part of it.

I have not done many for the mod because i have not good talent in modeling and texturing and can not as good english as the oters. but now i helping Black Sheep.
I get reference sound for him. In my profile, ther is standing "texturer" but i hate texturing, while i'm not good at texturing, i'm bad.
I think it woult be better, wehn in my profile stand " helping with something that must be done " or something like that. I support the mod, i make comercials for the mod in other forums (german fo forum; gamestar forum , cheatrooms) and othe thinks that must be done but at this time I'm not texturing. but only I'm not texturing, that not mean i'm sux or something. i think evryone in the mod team do this he can best.

whoa slow down no need to get excited...let alpha 1 do the sounds with black sheep 2000 they do the best in the areas they feel confortable in, give them a bit of faith and probably results are going to surfaceand surprise us.
Mr fury you might want to continue the work on your scripts because in 2 weeks the sunhawk will be texured for sure, so CHOP CHOP get it done and start thinking in materializing some test missions very soon.
AS a spectator I have never seen the MOD evolving so fast lately, work is getting done, 2D art, backgrounds, ships, missions, and even sounds are in advanced state of developing and soon the demo will see the day light. theres no point for negative hype.
I believe Capt white wanted just to stimulate the team menbers a bit,tahts all, no worryies m8's

I have only known about this mod for about 1 month, but if you asked me this mod is donnin pretty good compared to what ive seen before. This mod doesnt have nearly as many disputes between there members has many others. Now i agree with Cpt White that if you dont contribute on a regular basis you shouldnt be a team member. oh, yeah, august has come and gone, no mod

Could someone please give me the password & username for the texturing tutorial. If I am going to help, it would be very nice if I knew how to texture. Oh, btw, Capt. has several points, I have been looking around at a lot of mod sites lately, and of all the 'total conversion' ones, this one is doing the best of all. One last thing, Capt could have made a nice flowery speech and added at the end Get working or I will kick your @$$ at the end, although that is probably not going to happen.
