yes. The campaign script is a (set of ) txt files(s) explaining the happenings of EACH mission in detail , including the text of the speech ingame , the cutscenes , the briefing anis .

However you do it, everyone in the campaign team should have a precise idea of how every mission is layoutet and what happens in it.
