Will you have to shoot down torpedos in the StarLancer mod? Geez, I hope not. I almost went insane shooting down torpedos later in the SP game.
:P

It is not hard, i have Starlancer the torpetos are big, they are easy to destroy, the B5 mod for Sl rules, you can do everything they wanted to do in B5 into the fire. You can fly starfuries, whitestars, shadow ships, the weapons look cool to, and with the mod you can make your own ships.

I think you guys are doing a great job with the B5 mod, i just hope all these Mods will pull more people in the b 5 circle and we can bring Babylon 5 into the fire back for sure.

Can they make the jumppoint look real?

Posted by Vlad on 03-14-2001 12:45 AM:

They already look almost just like the normal jumppoint, except the way they form it, so they wouldn't have had to change much if they did, if you play on a mod ship, it looks really good.there are 2 types of jumps a light speed jump, and a jumppoint, the jumppoint looks really good.

They didn't spend half as much time and effort you guys are spending, i think yours will be better, because the pics look alot better, and it is run though a better engine, i just know that it is fun on starlancer, but the beam weapons are a little pixlated, but they said they are coming out with a better mod, i also had a q, with you mod will you be able to make your custom ships, i know you can on the sl one.

Hi everyone
so I'm the one who leads the B5 Mod for StarLancer.
I've started it in January because i couldn't wait for the FS2 mod to be released
we're only 4 guys who are doin all stuff (not voice overs, they'll be cast when i've finished the mission scripts)
everyone who thinks "the B5 mod for StarLancer (will) suck(s)" should go here
and i too think, that your mod will be the best (at least from the graphics, that's the only think i can judge now) when it's released
just give us a chance too (and maybe take a little more time, so we can release our TC before you)

Greetings
RubberEagle

p.s.: there will be no "shoot down torpedos" missions, but one, and there it's necessery

Welcome! Despite our perhaps mild rivalries, there is little to separate the various MOD groups since we are all focused on the same goal.

Posted by CptWhite on 03-19-2001 09:45 AM:

I agree, we should help one another where possible in my opinion

Posted by RubberEagle on 03-19-2001 12:30 PM:

yes, I haven't taken any offense or so, i just had to react
And i think a bit of competition doesn't do anything bad, i think, just the contrary

I think i've forgotten a smiley at my last sentence, so it wasn't that clear that i wasn't that serious
