To solve all of your problems just remember this:

There is no spoon!

Posted by Turnsky on 05-12-2001 11:09 AM:

how astute, i can't see no bloody spoon, so therefore there isn't one.

get a map of the world, go to the tip of india, now, go due south about 1000 miles until you reach about 7 degrees sout of the equator. now, move a little to the left, and your there. that should clear up any confusion as to where "here" is.

(isn't it just the most interesting stretch of planet?)

That big spot labeled 'Nowhere' on my map.

Hmmm... only thing I have around there is the "Chargos Arch. (U.K.)" (Archipellago, I assume). Is that it?

Look at a map of Australia, then Tasmania (the big island) then look at Devonport, it doesn't snow here but it gets blood cold nontheless or, as most Australians would put it "it's cold enough to freeze the balls of a brass monkey". You get my point though.

Hey, sandwich, look!

The whole outline of the flow of the topi above is happening again.

How the heck did this thread turn from the Lucifer to freezing the balls of a brass monkey?

Posted by Charger on 05-21-2001 08:43 AM:

Yep thats it, and it Chagos Archipeligo, British Indian Ocean Territory, of witch diego garcia is the largest one.

doesn't it look like the most interesting strectch of land on the planet? we have only 1 group of tourists in the last thirty years, and that was because that families sailboat lost it's mast and they were stranded here for 2 months waiting for a replacement.
