You mean how come it took so long for the explosion to prpogate through the ship?
Which was coded in the Tbl?

You know, if there wasn't the limit of 8 of those smileys (even though it stops you at 6 really) you'd have filled the page with them.

I only put down 5 in the whole message... it allows 6...
Edit- It allows 7 actually.

We hope to achieve a similar level with BWO. But its an entirely different beast so it'll have to be done differently.

Well, I'm not too embarassed to say that I missed it all... would you mind listing some of this fantastic foreshadowing?

Heh, now thats a workload

A word here, a phrase there. I'd have to go back and play the campaign again and re-read alot of it to distill it down and put it up here, of which I don't think im going to have time to do.

Its forshadowing in those twisted of ways...where it never really makes any sense until later. Its like the Matrix. That had some great forshadowing

Like if they mentioned Golgotha, or Charon in there, eh? Eh?

Posted by Kellan on 05-27-2001 12:42 PM:

There's all sorts of foreshadowing in there, from ship and mission names to subtle Biblical elements of the resurrection and all sorts of stuff like that. Even I would have to play through the campaign again and examine all the dialogue and events in order to tell you about it all. It's something that all you literary critics can do for me.

Incidentally, there's a strong Biblical theme in The Matrix, as well as the Eastern mysticism.

I love how these things can be worked into the overall scheme.

I am one of those freaky silent people who never posts, I just download stuff and read the forum for updates .

I have more questions about derelict, after going through it twice I still can't figure certain things out.

1. At the start you find a derelict vasudan transport. Why?
2. Why did that pilot black out, it was never exaplained.
3. Where did the terran tranports dissapear to and why? (you know the ones that picked up the crews of the dissabled fleet)
4. Why were these dissabled ships destroyed by the GTVI
5. Why did you come under attack by Stealthed GTVI ships and what was that stealthed frigate (the iceni class thingy) doing there ?
6. Why did you come under attack by stealthed Vasudan ships when defending the dissabled fleet? who were they, will we ever find out?
Very Babylon 5 ish of completely unnerving events that dont seem to happen for any reason and aren't explained... yet

I want answers dammit, or atleast a good campaign to explain all this madness.

Your silently(err?) Radarhead

I must say... for a guy that doesn't post too much, you post good

I like it!

I think that the vasudan freighter that you're talking about is the one that Mackie called Marie Celeste. I think that it was there just to cause mysterie ... c'mon Kellan tell me if I'm wrong!

About the thing of the GTVI attacking those transports, I assume that it was because thay had something that GTVI wanted to hide to the GTVA(remember that there may be many rogue GTI leftovers there, has shown in Warzone).

About Kile being unconscious, I have no idea

Many ofd the things that apear in these guys campaigns won't ever be explained to us, so that the mysterie is kept within it... that's what makes the~m so interesting.
Heck, maybe not even Kellan, Ace or IceFire know the explanations for some of these events :P ... they could been just maked up just to make mysterie. Right??

Pretty close to spot on. The reasons for some of the non sense making stuff in Warzone is located at the back of my convoluted mind. Probably the same as Kellan and Agatheron.

Be damned if we were to try and explain it. We'd probably confuse ourselves

I don't want you to explain... like I said, mysterie is what keeps these campaigns moving!

Well, let me say this: I do believe that the first two of Radarhead's questions are answered in the campaign, though if they're not I might just leave it up to your imagination. About the freight though, did anyone see it, think 'derelict' = "Derelict" and be slightly more surprised later on? Foreshadowing...one of the more obvious ones.

Some of the mission and ship names in Derelict are also little jokes, references and so on. The medical ships that are carrying the Capellan refugees for example were all named after doctors that Agatheron knew personally.

As for the last 4 questions, they GTVI are very good at being shadowy and mysterious. Some of these loose ends may be tied up...one day (after BWO, in other words) - other than that, they will remain a mystery for the moment. Because I'm mean.

Hmmmmm I pretty much knew you were going to give a reply that explained about as much as a duckbilled platipus. Well what can I say, I just look forward to answers being revealed in a future campaign.

Oh, I almost forgot...

Don't compare Kellan with a horse, we all know he is worst than that :P

Just kidding!
