It was a joke, lighten up.

My point was, if you can't solve the same math by hand, with paper and a pencil, you have a big problem. Sure, its hard to solve that stuff by hand, but if you're relying on a calculator to do all of your math, and you can't do it by yourself, that's a bad thing.

And just to rub it in your face (teehee ) I have actually done all of the math you just mentioned. By hand.

Hehe.. I like my TI-83 Plus, I just write all the formulas in the chapter we need for tests in to a program so I can do the problems really fast.

And he's right. The only thing my TI-85 can't do (or, at least, I don't know how to code that in there) is implicit differentiation...which is so easy to do by hand, it doesn't even matter.

Calculus....um, it's damn near impossible to type that on a webboard....

but it's taking the derivative of an equation with multiple variables on a single side, e.g. deriving (x^2)(y^3)+3x=3y or whatever.

Or, you can do sneaky stuff like taking the derivative of that equation with respect to a completely different variable like T, but whatever.

Differential equations are hella fun (not) ... but I am glad I never have to take that class again! w00t!

Okay Jennings, I found my calculator. Here is EXACTLY what it can do.
Statistical Plots(haven't used that func yet)
Matrix Equations(Stores 26)
Lists(also haven't used yet)
Graphing(Y=, radius, parametric, X as constant, Y>, Y<, Y>=, and Y<=) Stores combined total of 20 of those
Dynamic Variable Graphs(don't understand how it works)
Y= Table Functions(have not used)
Recursion(have not used)
Conic equations(e.g. X=A(Y-K)^2+H (the ^2 means squared)
Simultaneous/Polynomial equations(haven't used)
Programs in Casio-BASIC(similar to TI-BASIC)
Time Value of Money(haven't used)
So no offense, but I do think that my calculator is better than TI's. They are easier to use, though.
