The Bakha kicks major ass. It's so fast it can even be used as fighter if need be! not to mention good maneuverability and Heavy armor. Thoth is really fun to fly too. A double-sized missile bank(normal is 160 Tempest/32 Tornado) and a quad-cannon, plus excellent speed.

Terran and Vasudan ships are quite different in design ideologies.

Vasudan ships are typically faster and more manuverable but lack the shields and armor of their Terran counterparts.

Somebody DISed the Herc 2 up there....repent your sin

The Herc 2 is an awesome ship that balances decent primary and massive secondary firepower.

Plus their designs are far superior to those of the Terrans.. the Terran ships are too harshly square.

Well no wonder the Vasudans are smacking the Terrans around in your scenario! The Aeolus was built as anti-fighter! Try replacing those with some Leviathan and re-check it, I think you'll see a favorable result toward the Terrans. As for the Vasudan ships having lighter armor, try checking the specs in FRED2, see if it's right.

Best Bomber: Sekhmet
Most Versatile: Sekhmet or Bakha
Best Heavy Assault: Tauret or Sekhmet
Best Interceptor: Thoth, Horus, or Perseus

In light of this new evidence, HOW can you say Vasudans suck?
