Remora I need your ICQ, or ICQ me at 73316724
thanks
OK. Two of the new guns (UMP and Five-seveN) are godly. I will be using the UMP 24/7 now.
I haven't gotten to use the SG-550 but I'm not much for sniping, so whatever.
The new models look pretty, but some of the animations suck ass. The way the CTs hold their rifles is better (e.g. braced on shoulder) but the run/walk animations suck.
There's no defuse animation. So it sucks by omission.
They screwed with damn near every map. Office is now a LOT better, I don't think they did anything to prodigy, cbble is unchanged from b7 ...
Plasma, it's approximately 15bps, so you can set your watch pretty easily
Anyway I like CS1.0 for the most part. Besides, I don't see the models that often, because I'm usually shooting them ... or getting shot, or most often both at once.

v1.0 is faster than 7.1 forme
I just read that the guys behind CS are going to be adjusting the models for the CS 1.1 patch, just FYI.
I know, Gooseman is pissed off.

I think they do need to adjust the models. Higher poly count is good for eye candy, but it hurts gameplay. Multiple people here get major frame rate hits when the game gets up to a decent number of players, where they previously didn't.
Wow! What system do you have? (I imagine mine is more lame)
I get an average of 10/15fps (but I use 800x600 res and have tweaked the HL internet connection settings) - I cant wait until I get my brand-spankme-new GeForce2 MX
and an extra 128mg of Ram (i'll have 182mg then
)

This month my DSL, next one a new monitor, in January an Athlon 1k... I´m coming for ya!
My system is not that great, but I get good frame rates on a good server.

He´s pissed off, because I bothered him via email once (twice... ok: six times)..
Gooseman has stated that he will be re-including flinch anims for 1.1 - and trying to ironout some of the netcode bugs & speed problems associated with the new release.

OK, thanks.
He has good reason to be pissed, I laugh my ass off every time I lag behind the rest of the CT team as we run from the spawn point
