Hey, I want an answer to a similar question, one of greater importance IMHO:

Why wasn't FS2 released in Israel?!??! I was forced to play a, uhm.... reduced version for a year or so until I could get someone to bring it back from the states for me.

Whatever happens, and whenever (if at all) it happens: make sure you release FS3 in Israel, too!!!

I'm pretty sure Israel would have fallen into the "rest-of-world" release Interplay is fond of. Kind of a catch all. Although I'd imagine the plain NA English version would probably have been fine. But hey, we're talking Interplay here - check logic at the door.

I'd be shocked to hear that Red Faction was released in Brazil since it seems like it didn't ever make it to Canada....or not around here (Southern Ontario - almost the most densely populated region of North America???). I never once saw it in the stores...anywhere. At EB, Future Shop, Radio Shack (shudder), or anywhere. We were luckier with FreeSpace than Red Faction it seems. Either that or were FPS hogs and everyone sold out. Was classes keeping me from shopping around too or I would have much sooner.

I'm not 6 feet from one now, but when I go home in a week, I will be.

have you even SEEN linux? do i need to take screens of my graphical user interface for you? I find this easier to use than windows 90% of the time

not to mention it's fast and stable

no offense orange, but you have a real twisted view of linux - probably just a very outdated view. The GUI on linux has come a _LONG_ _WAY_ in the last two years.

Actually I dual-booted the latest version of RedHat less than a month ago to see if it was any better as of late.

Once again, Kazan is the idiot.. as always.

You can take pics but XP is by far better looking.

Nope.

Granted, the standard appearance of Xp is better than Linux's, but Linux is far more customizable and therefore it can be tweaked and played with to look as good as your abilities allow.

Now who's picking a fight? Dude, just because someone is of the opinion that Linux looks better than XP doesn't mean you can call them an idiot. Disagree with them from here to doomsday, but don't call them an idiot for their opinion.

Kazan, I almost wish I was holding something against you, so that I could wipe the slate clean, as you put it, between you and I, and start over. But I don't hold anything against you.

In my recent stint of reserves, I got to meet a couple of guys who basically hated my guts for being me. Maybe it was my corny jokes, or maybe it was that vague thing called "personality" - whatever it was, they didn't like me. I didn't have anything against them - at least, I didn't until they started acting like jerks towards me. I wish we could have gotten along better, but I guess I can't be everyone's friend.

Worst of all, I was assigned to the same APC as they were. That basically meant that we would always go out on the same patrols together, cooped up with each other inside the APC with all the hatches closed for hours on end. I couldn't stand their attitude towards me - mainly because it was baseless. It even got to the point where I requested to be transferred to a different APC.

The point is, if the next time I have reserves they say that they regret acting like jerks and want to start afresh, I'd welcome the chance with open arms.

Why can't you all?

Problem is that not everyone owns up to what they say. I keep forgiving and getting bitten on the toe for doing it. And I will continue to forgive and be tolerant and start fresh and maybe it will pay off one day....or maybe it already has
