I already said that in an earlier post.

"Your nemesis has arrived... and they are wondering what happend to their scouting party"

that means the shivans has been traveling trough supspace for 30 years to find their scouting party... due to the many reactors on the Lucifer it could have been the main communication with the scouts Fs1 to the Shivans in Fs2... so they send 80 or so sathanas and etc vessels to chek out what happened...

It could have been the Lucifer and its vessels that destroyed the ancients and been living near supspace for 8000 years thus explaining the diffrance of Fs1 shivan ships and Fs2 Shivan ships

the funny thing is the shivans use Flak turrets... shouldnt they have developed some own anti fighter turrets than flak turrets

They used Flak? hm... never payed that much attention... It was more like, hostile= Helios!

the whole flack and beam weapons not seen untill terrans have them is were I base my theory that the shivans don't atack a race with a weapon that that race has not developed some vertion of them selves.

Which is odd in itself, cause then the shivans would have brought out stealth...

That theory is flawed due to the Terrans having no where near the level of Shivan technology at the begining of the great war.

The beams for the Shivans were always there, the Lucifer had them and it's fleet was a small escort force of a few destroyers and cruisers. (those ships if they did have beams were not utilizing them due to the lack of need to because their standard cannons were more than effective)

As for flak cannons, I assume that the Shivan flak weaponry is based on completely different principles than the Terran flak cannons, that and very few Shivan ships are actually armed with them.

I think Flak is the Shivan's way of ****ting on us...

Supposing their ships are "living"...

The Shivans' ships are advanced, yes, but they don't have to be living - in fact, there's at least a slight chance against it, as if the ships were living they didn't appear to mind being modified/flown by Terran pilots.

I don't think their living, but it was just a stupid joke...

I bet the ships use advanced control systems, like the Veritechs do in the Robotech anime. They read your brain activity and the VT acts accordingly.

Maybe. Like the Invid from Robotech, I think.

If the GTVA was smart, they wouldn't have sent the Collosus in head-on... If they lured the Sathanas in with, say four destroyers, and then the Collosus entered, it would have been no contest...


BTW, I know that they didn't have the ships to allocate to do this, but it still would've been smarter

Shivan ships are definately mechanical, but there may be some sort of minor biological component to them.

They could still move the Colossus so that they weren't waiting directly in front of the Sathanas' jump in point.

This is all assuming that the Shivans don't have bombers and other warships.

Sure the Hecates warp in behind the Sathanas and then the rest of the Shivan fleet warps in behind the Hecates and were back to square one.
