Oki, Mr. Spike...

I'm gonna tell you something...don't take it as an offense, I'm just saying how I see it here:

1) The BWO team is not in school anymore...they work or go to a uni, so they sometimes just don't have time to reply. They are surely not going to offend you...so don't get pissed, if they don't reply within 24 hours. I am currently doing some stuff for BWO and even I have a hard time to contact IceFire.

2) You offer your help...but you just don't tell anyone what kind of skills you have. The fact, that you are a big man on PXO is certainly of no interest here...so what can you do...texturing, modelling, FREDding?

3) You ask to learn Fredding. It's like I would go to Danny Elfman and ask "hey man...can you teach me composing?". I suggest you do it like all other Fredders here...you go into your FreeSpace2\data directory and dig for the FRED2 walkthrough...spend two hours of your time and that walkthrough step-by-step. It is pretty easy.
To design a good mission is nothing that you can really learn. It is somehow the art of making the mission with the few SEXPs we have...now...can you tell me what a SEXP is?

People usually get into mod teams because they got already some skill that is useful. Texturing, 2D-Artwork, modelling, effects...that are only a few.

As I said, don't take that as an offense. Just list down the skills you already have for modding...

Wel Guys...

well,
im asking around my squad and asking what skil ppl have.. well c what we can give.. if any... but im trying as best i can 2 assist.
one of our Pilots who has some good skils dont realy want 2 help.. so im trying 2 ask if he can teach me..

EVO Deviance~'my skill is to create small *.gif icons for example
to manipulate pictures. like to create fred backgrounds.'

so im gona try 2 get him 2 help if u guys need help in anything like this..
or get him 2 teach me > )

Either way.. this is only one guy i asked sofar.. il ask more and keep u guys informed.

even if we cant help, jsut know, im trying, and that i tried.

I'm a United Space staffy, and have no connection with BWO in any way shape or form.

And by not visiting HLP, you're only missing out on a truly active Freespace community. But it is your choice.
