*wonders why all these screens are posted by the staff, screens of, what appears to be a completed second release, for the past few months, still pull my attention, since it will never be released, and all we have is "when we bloody well feel like releasing it"*

Right now it's just organizational issues and missions that need to be conquered I believe. The last ships have been or are being converted and bugs ironed out.

Missions could take some time, depending on a number of variaiaiaiaiables.

Maybe some interface art too.

Actually..until recently...only I and a few others had *most* of things together in one place. We've spent alot of time consolodating things and making it work. In those last few months, the tables have taken a new meaning to the word "refined". Effects are now being worked on and Xaphod's return in the last few weeks has brought back the new Nial and Tishat models which are just superb.

The Battlewagon was crashing, the Radier Carrier was not quite complete, the Asimov had texture warping problems and so on and so forth and some such.

So no...stuff was not completed. We were just hiding the hard edges away in screen shots taken during specific times. Its like developing a game...sometimes it looks finished but turn another 60 degree's to port and there staring at you is a big ugly 2 color planet thats placeholder. Thats not an accurate example of what's been going on but it does illustrate the point.

there is a problem with FS2 Open 3.5 - the beam crashing is fixed, but something is shot in model loading that cuases random crashes

Well, its just I lost my patience.

*TBP runs to give up the project, Strider doesnt care so its over!*

Yeah, I mean nothing to the group. But as mentioned, how bout, when SHIPS are done, RELEASING THEM in a package?

Missions take FOREVER, but I make my missions faster than you guys. College, university, YEAH, but thats why the completed ships, WHEN COMPLETE mind you, should be pre-released to allow US to have fun instead of waiting for the "variablesssss" to be worked on.

And the attitude I see lately, all the "CRAM IT" and "WHEN ITS DONE, ALRIGHT" isnt too encouraging.....

my two credits...

Strider... Shut up. Okay?

The Vorlons will crush you in a debate if you piss them off.
And at least I would like that R2 comes when it is really ready. When TBP decides that it is good enought to give to us fans with high expectations. They aren't keeping it to them selves just to be mean you know...
And your attidute of "GIVE IT TO ME NOW, ME WANT ME WANT" has just made me angry.

The rest of us are perfectly capable of waiting, so don't mind these few young ones giving the false impression of impatiency among us.
There are plenty of other things in the universe to draw our attention while TBP is being worked on - I suggest you take an interest in one of them while waiting, Strider.
