If you still don't have release 1, you can download all released packages from [URL=http://koti.mbnet.fi/~fury/tbp/]here.[/URL]

Folder [URL=http://koti.mbnet.fi/~fury/tbp/r1/]"r1"[/URL] includes release 1 core, highres, anims and music packages.

Folder [URL=http://koti.mbnet.fi/~fury/tbp/r1_patch/]"r1_patch"[/URL] includes release 1 core and highres patches.

And no, there is no "r2" folder yet.
It is a good time to download TBP R1 and R1 patch if you haven't yet... *hint*

worst case scenario: the releese is going to be verry sucky everyone will be dissapointed and the project is going to go down the drain

best case scenario: the releese is going to blow our minds thus inspire the team and we will have the final releese in a year.

It depends on what you're expecting of R2.
There are number of things that must be left out, and instead put them on R2 patch or R3.

Don't expect too much so you won't be disappointed.
You'll get new ships, weapons, effects and single missions.

As long as we get the new ships and tables then I'll be happy for now as I can make my own missions for EA civil war stuff from the show (I know that a campaign is being done but that won't stop me from making my own, possibly multi-player, missions). Keep it up and I look forward to all future releases

Edit: There's now two folders, basically it's the same mission in both series 1 and 2, but a bit different.

Edit 2: Added two screenshots to first folder: screen11.jpg and screen12.jpg.

Edit 3: Added folder "3" with [URL=http://koti.mbnet.fi/~fury/tbp/screens/3/screen00.jpg] one new screenshot[/URL].
Please, turn you monitor brightness down when viewing the screenshot. Do you recognize that beauty?

With R2...we're going to try and finish as many planned models as possible, give you a few missions to play and let the community take it from there. What you are getting are polished models, effects, textures, sounds and balanced tables. The content we hope you guys to help create.

One thing I'd like to improve sometime (and maybe this will be patch material) is a more proper ship/weapons interface. At the very least, upgraded enough so that we aren't using all old FreeSpace icons.

Just to make you and everyone sure, all [URL=http://koti.mbnet.fi/~fury/]files[/URL] have been tested and proved to be working. So there shouldn't be any corrupted files.

It is always a good idea to use download managers such as [URL=http://www.amazesoft.com/]FlashGet[/URL], [URL=http://gozilla.com/index.htm]Go!Zilla[/URL], [URL=http://www.getright.com/]GetRight[/URL] or [URL=http://www.speedbit.com/]Download Accelerator[/URL] just to name a few.

I never was able to DL that thing.

Someone. Who shall remeain nameless but whose name storts with an 'A', sent me a cd copy. Hopefully i will be able to DL R2 with more success.

(that 'A' should be a big hint. think of all the ways possible to say "A".. It doesnt have to be in Engish.)
