Cypher Ship

Can anyone tell me where i can find the ship called the cypher which was used in the Derelict campaign.

Use VPView and you can extract it from the .vp yourself. (click on the link if you don`t know what VPView is)

no i need it so that the campaign to work because everytime i play a mission that uses that ship i get a error.

thats how you get the model, stick the pof in the model folder under data and the pcx files under the maps folder.

You do mean a derelict mission don't you? Coz this sounds a lot like what happens when you try to play a main campaign mission with the Iceni in it (looks identical to the Cypher) without uninstalling Derelict.

And there r only two under models which r hydra.pof and saphah.pof and i dont think that they r the GTFf cypher.

The saphah is the Cypher (Cypher is the ship name, Saphah is the class, like the Aquitane was a hecate and the Bastion an Orion).

oh thanks for your help but when i open a mission that uses that ship fred says that im missing a mod. and when i select the GTFf Cypher it is a fighter.

That points to a bigger problem. Since you`re getting the option to use the Cypher you must still have deralict's ships.tbl installed but since it can`t find it the deralict .vp file must have been removed or renamed.
Find the deralict vp file and move it to your freespace2 directory and all should be fine.
