Congrats to the Babylon Project

Hi all,
I have recently dusted off my old copies of Freespace 1&2 in a fit of nostalgia and was unsurprised to find that I had driver issues and set about finding the appropriate updates.

To my surprise (and delight) I came across mention of the Babylon Project in a Google search. I'm so glad to see someone is attempting this - I remember logging onto a B5 board in 1999, just weeks after FS2's release and commenting that the similarities between the 2 universes opened the door for a potential B5 sim...

For this I was shot down with terse replies from the hardcore posters (told to use my imagination etc) and have not been back to the B5 portal since. Being a programming luddite, attempting anything like this is completely beyond my comprehension and I am in admiration of the Babylon Project members.

Great idea and I look forward to the results!
