I just finished watching it, I never knew the Omega had rear batteries!
When they started talking about them, I thought they meant those turrets along the sides. Then the view swings around.. "Wait a minute, there arent any turrets.. hey, what are those round things near the engines?" *FSSSWWWW-BANG*

8 guns rear in total. Four X-Ray lasers, 4 pulse cannons. In the mod, the lasers are scalled versions of the foreward batteries.

IIRC, the X-Ray lasers at the rear of the Omega are the same as those fitted to the Midwinter. The 2 forward ones being more powerful.

Also, don't surviving Nova dreadnoughts have a pair of these light X-ray lasers at the front too???
