Mr.Fury, 89% is considered the best what we can afford right now.

I think that this is a real morale boost for the whole Babylon Project team. At least I'm proud of the score... still waiting for the judgement of Pelit magazine though (they are real B5 fans there).

I think that this kind of franchise work should be reviewd by 2 parts: B5 fans and non B5 fans. Many reviews did that with StarTrek:First Contact for example. It gives a clearer image of what the viewer/player can expect from the "product"

cheers!
Henrik

You know, if TGU thinks you did this good you may even get hte copyright if you ask properly. you might even get the actors for breifing voices. Seriously. You could. I be so proud of you guys!!

Well I reviewed the demo as a B5 fan, though I did state that it would not appeal to non B5 fans.

I think I gave it a fair score, and I was reviewing it on the premise that it was not the final release, but a demo and did not neccesarily reflect the end product.

I hope to review and preview future releases from you guys, as it was a joy to play, and ultimately write that article

No.
Not the way copyright works. Chances = 0.

Chances = -20

Liscensing stuff is BIG $$$

No, pooling a dollar or a thousand dollars from each person on this board would not do the trick either.

well i din't mean the WHOLE ENTIRE copyright. just some of it. and what about those breifing voices. if the Actors new about the MOd and the reveiw it got, they would probably do it.

No, its not worth a try. Its not worth a remote try. The producers have nearly zero power, the actors are in the negatives, and us fans are in the double digit negatives.

I said nothing about a copyright, I was talking about licensing. If Sector 14 Studios can't get it for their own half finished game, what makes you think that in a thousand years, a small fan product based on someone elses game would do it?

Also because the actors do not own the rights to performing as those characters - they would have to get permission from the people who hold the copyright for B5. Bringing that kind of official attention onto an unofficial mod = no more TBP.

And on topic...

Anyone else having trouble connecting to that server? I've never gotten a connection to it ...

c'mon. at least ASK the actors if they would be willing to make a recording or two. The absolute worst they can do is say "no".
