Oh , and a last thing you have to know - forgot to write that in README : When you jump out you have to be CLOSE to Gate or your capital ship.

I'm at 30% with 18.9kb/sec (could be more, got an 768k-DSL connection...) and happy with it. Once you are logged in, it works fine...

This is amazing!!!

I have just completed the first three missions, and they are excellent. To be truthful, I wasn't expecting much, seeing as this is a demo and all. All I wanted was a game that showed some promise for the future.

This doesn't show promise, it show excellence!!

The new lighting really makes the game look much better, too. I didn't think Freespace could look this good

I noticed one small problem, though. When you look at the sun, the screen goes completly white. In Freespace 2, it just fadded to white, but you could still slightly see the HUD. With the mod, I can't even see an outline of the HUD while looking at the sun. This is very disorienting, and I hope it will be fixed for future releases.

Overall, this is the best mod I have played in a long time. Hell, this is the best GAME I have played in a long time!

An unfortunate byproduct of the new lighting. Its the new lighting or a sun you can look at. If we had source code...you'd know what we'd do

Brilliant!!!

I would like to thank the whole Babylon Project team for this. I've been keeping up with the project for six months and finally it's here!

I've been so wound up with tension over the last few days it's unbelievable, and have been frantically downloading for the last twenty minutes. The screenshots look great and I know some compromises of gameplay and engine limitations over realism and people's requests have been made but to be honest I believe that if any one of us were in your position then we would have made every decision the same, for the good of the game itself.

Keep up the excellent work and don't let anyone detract from the work you have done. Now, where's my copy of Freespace 2 to reinstall...
