The Vorchan and the Sharlin both look absolutely great! In the forum there are multiple messages implying that the Sharlin is still under development, so is it? At least the textures are very good, but where is the main "forehead" gun??? It should be located in the base of the (vertical) wing..

There will be no forehead gun. It already has 22 turrets. Thats more than enough.

so that's what that thing was, I was hoping it wasn't important, becase everything I did yealded an overly complicated model, oh well, one more turret won't be to bad I guess, I've got plenty of polys to spair.

The model needs to be sized bigger while your at it. Its supposed to be 1,600 meters long so its pretty big.

the new model I made was twice the size of the first one, makeing it 1.6K long from the tip of the rear engine fin thingy to the tip of the main beam cannon on the front. I made the model so I have a cob of it in it's new UVspace vertion, I don't know if I have a good backup of the old UV vertion, but you can extract one from the pof.

Beam glow ... yes Kazan.
just to mention I never saw a Sharlin screenie WITHOUT 600 beams and 200 explosions. How about a screenie without beams so I could evaluate the textures ?
