Truespace

I have just er.. aquired truespace 5 and am wondering if there are any tutorials about how to create freespace 2 compatable ships and how to get them running in freespace 2.

Look at FS2 Fighter creation tutorial, it should help ya a bit. There is also several another tutorials but I am quite sure that others will also post some links for ya.

I have truespace5 too only 1 problem...I have no way to start using it because its from a friend of mine who lend me but there was no code, he had gotten the program for his father but wasnt iterested in using it at all and didnt even bother to get me the code wich he couldn find in the mess of his home.
Is there a sahreware version capable of saving models? what limitations does it have?

Negative, the Shareware version does not allow saving.

Talk to some of our staff, they might be able to help you get into modeling anyways.

The new version 5.1 allows you to save objects, but expires after 30 days. U can get round this but windows has to be reinstalled before u will be able to use it again

I am quite sure that can be handled by deleting all registry entries leading to truespace, much like with paint shop pro.
