As soon as I've finished downloading it, I'll recompress it into a zip file for you and send it to you. I'm at about 47% downloaded at the moment.

And you can't compress a compressed file

There is only so much minimizing of data repitition that is possible. A different algorithm works....I believe were using RAR.

Get a better ISP.

dude, if your CDRs cost $5 each, you forgot to buy the right kind.

I could easily break even on shipping someone a CD-R, an envelope is like $1, a CD-R is like $1, and shipping is way less than $3...you just wouldn't get a fancy jewel case.
Or a jewel case at all. Maybe a piece of notebook paper folded into a sleeve with "REALLY CRAPTACULAR CD CASE" written on it in marker or something.

Now, the problem is, I'm 2100 miles away from my CDRW drive.

Does anyone know if it's legal to distribute a cd of this mod?

Not sure but WB has license for Babylon5 and you can't make money from it (legally) without license. Am I correct?

It should be. As long as the only payment made is to cover CD and shipping costs. As long as you give proper credit to the people that did the work designing the MOD you should be fine.
