OT from TBP but a Bab5 question: Help me, please!

Can anyone tell me a page where I can find info on the EA rank insignia? Those bars beneath the EA symbol. Which color is which rank aso. Checking one page after the other... Found nothing!

Just found out, those bars aren't rank insignia, they are status bars or so:

"The stat bar is of colored metal worn beneath the Earth Alliance badge on the left side of the chest, its color indicating the status of the wearer. Command wears gold, command staff silver, executive officers a silver-gold combination, red for medical, green for security, and yellow for sciences."

And why is Garibaldy wearing a half width bar in the first seasons? Does anything make sense?
