Introducing the GTB Grizzly

This is my most beautifull model so far, based on a volition concept that didn't make through any of the games. So I decided to make it, coz it's cool
The grizzly itself is done, mapped and all.
Now I need to add the 2 turrets (one on the nose and one behind the cockpit), and I want to put 2 rotative guns, like on the pic. ok let's stop the blabla, place to the pics:

No offence to any other modelers, but that is the most Freespace-y looking ship I have ever seen! (that could be because it was a Volition sketch)

Is it just me or does it look like a decendant of the Zues?

It would look better with the following:

Lower stabilizer base is greyscale as opposed to brown.

Engines are greyscaled as opposed to the brown.

Area on top behind cockpit has the black logos which are on the Zeus removed.

I'd also angle the front intakes more so they look less like the Ursa and more like the art.

All in all an excellent model and texture job, though I am a little iffy on the ship design, but hey, that wasn't you.

you really should of called it the GTB Hybrid since it IS a cross between a zues,a ursa,and a medusa.

and if you want it to lose its geriatric-grandpa-nursinghome bomber look,give it an anti-fighter beam so anyone who mistakes it for an old bomber will live to regret it!

Yeah, I'll do modifications for the maps (brown parts will be turned into grey parts, I don't really like that too). And I'll probably add details on the side of the cockpÃ®t, coz plain white is not great.
I definitively won't give it beams thought... it will have two turrets, 4 guns points and 16 missile points, I think that's far enough... I(ll give it custom weapons for the turrets (looks like gatling guns, so it will have gatling guns

), but nothing as deadly as a aaa beam.

oh, yeah, I changed its name, too (not enough GTVA for some people). Just don't remember what the new name is. i'll have to wait coz it's posted on the hlp forum and, once again, it's down

Why not? I like shark jaws, but there's not really ebough room for that... I'll see. I'm not on my comp' now, so I can't work on it.
Btw, Snipes, I know you're good at reskins, and I've already give the poor Darkage too much work he can handle with (hmm, not a right snetence I suppose, but hell). I wanted to know if you could help him to make skins for my campaign...
If you can help me, could you send me a mail there : Venom2506@ifrance.com, or at least contact Darkage, coz i'm not sure what he has already done and what he want to do.

Maybe it should be pre-Great War in time origin. It has a feeling like a precursor to the Hercules and the Apollo and the Ursa.

With Ace's precursor to the Orion, there might be enough ships to collect it all as a MOD
