Weaponry will include standard EA OLD Pulse cannons (the blue ones). A rail gun, and a set of missile launchers (some sort of area effect missile).

So there'll be limited weaponry, but that won't take away from the game, eh? Cool... When's the ETA?

The Olympus is pretty much outclassed against every Minbari ship. It was apparently very useful against the Dilgar attacks on friendly transports.

Its fairly fast and manuverable....faster than a Fenris and just as manuverable.

PSSSSST a secret : Ice like area efect missiles:)

hehe..
Olympus is not a weak ship...It was a star at its day...still has quite a punch but not compared with Minbari....Is supose to have a quite a powerfull railgun ..some missile launchers 4 PPC and 4-6 Furys in hangar..

Thats right Tomcat, but its not technically a powerful ship.

Its a useful ship and continues to be a useful ship because its fast, easy to deploy, and is great for patroling borders and protecting convoys.

This may not be accurate i just remembered it

I believe it was firing some missiles from its missile banks. Not big missiles mind you...but it did fire them.

I think they got intercepted by Minbari fighters tho...or something.

"Noone who saw them fighting against the inevitable could help but be moved to tears by their courage, their stubborn nobility."

Fun scene, a single Olympus and a wing of Starfuries versus 27 Sharlins......now THAT would make a challenging mission!

that scene made me cry

Great Olympus!

Smile

Love that movie and love your Olympus as well
This poem I reckon sums up us humans in times of conflict
"Though we are not now that strength which, in old days, moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are; one equal temper of heroic hearts made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yield." -- Tennyson (Ulysses)

LMAO
does anyone here pro-earth-radicals think that even with a lot of patriotism they had any chance?? (oh no not again that discution!!!!) I miss that debate!!!
'theres nothing that leads us to beleive the minbari have that many sharlins' -somoeone once said.

Posted by darthwoo on 06-21-2001 06:04 PM:

I remember in the Battle of the Line scenes, when the Minbari fleet jumps out from hyperspace, there were dozens of jumpgates visible, and at least 10 Sharlins came out from just one of them. Sort of confused as to how the Minbari tactical displays worked, because when they showed Delenn and that other guy talking, they both had the same backdrop of Earth behind them.
