Team member of The Perfect Storm... doing... somthing...
Project Coordinater of Alternate Reality: The Chickens Cometh mod for FS2.
It's a ship created by the EA using shadow tech and appeared in Crusade, well only once it was canceled. The link has some pics and info http://www.b5tech.com/miscracesgroups/EABlackOps/shadowhybrid.html
Sure, go for the Shadow Hybrid. Thats a wild ship
Be carefull If we start doing warlocks omegas-x, excaliburs and shadow hibryds we might get a very long time of waiting after the demo as ships like the g'quan Primus vorchan and omega (not to mention their respective fighters)should be next and are in danger of being left for last. all 'youngsters' to the team should help these ships authors in texturing. That is my humble opinion.
dude u don't get it...U must prove yourself that u can model for FS2.try with something usefull and easy
..ok u could try Brakiri ...but is a very dificult mesh...all round...
on the other part..It was decided taht Earth Minbari will be the demo..the other ships were ready long before the Earth and Minbar
well at lest the mesh
let see..primius is at version2 now I wasn't happy with the first...QGuan is in texture works (ethernal1) Vorchan texture work by Skular Sentri(or sentiri
also done I'll texture it this week, Frazi also done, need to finish the other lods of Warlock..

i also would liek to help in the modeling and texturing - if someone has the textures i think i can do a simple ship now - i can also manufacture simple ships - my attempts at larger things not brillant yet
Geez tomcat it looks like you have quite a burdain there!
one guy for so many ships...I'm learning to texture, my last achievment was texturing the rotation section of the omega. But i'm having dificulties in textuting faces I choose instead of the hole subobject. Every time I try to texture the head the map covers the hole central body, and yes I used UV maping.
I have TS5. My leaning curve is climbing with some bumps in the middle but climbing.
Maybe i might be of some help in the future.
In truespace where do you go to find now many polys a object has?
Like I keep saying, Tomcat is an essential and very valued part of this team. He has sat down, worked hard at learning howto make models for FS2. He has satisfied my every expectation when it comes to making the models as accurate as they can be under the circumstances. Without him, we'd be lost
doh
dudes check the arrow in the toolbars...lright click on it ..u will see one of the most usefull tool in TS..object information.
