Is there a sahreware version capable of saving models? what limitations does it have?

Negative, the Shareware version does not allow saving.

Talk to some of our staff, they might be able to help you get into modeling anyways.

The new version 5.1 allows you to save objects, but expires after 30 days. U can get round this but windows has to be reinstalled before u will be able to use it again

I am quite sure that can be handled by deleting all registry entries leading to truespace, much like with paint shop pro.
