FreeSpace2 Tech question plz help!
Greetings all!
The machine I currently use to play FreeSpace2 is behind a gateway running NAT, to share the internet connection to all the computers in our house. Because of this, any games I host on pxo do not show up for other people.
I'm wondering if anyone out there can tell me the network ports that FS2 uses when hosting a game, so that I can forward them to the correct internal IP.
It'll probably be a range or something, and if you know if it's just TCP and/or UDP that'd be great.

i like the name
from it i assume you've taken latin "wolf of the night"
I do exactly the same thing and have exactly the same problem. Somebody help us
Okay, here are the ports that I've managed to dig up from some gracious webboard posters.
7117 tcp
7802 udp
7808 udp
8811 udp
Also, make sure these url's are open for passthru:
ut.pxo.net (user server) - for logging on
gt.pxo.net (game server) - displays the available game list and ping times
chat.pxo.net (chat serv) - for the talk windows..
Megaprops to Sparks on the Voltion-inc BB
wow, more ppl that know rudimentary Latin. I'm surprised.
I've used this for a long time now, because the normal version, Nightwolf, is usually taken on most everything I try. So I put a little spin on it. *^_^*
Geez, I took Latin for 1 year and I still got it
